Experience & Character Gains

Experience is given at the end of each 'Chapter', or in our case, at the end of every week, on Saturday, before nightly game play proceeds. A post will be made on the Out of Character board, stating the experience gained from play. For this reason, characters should keep a nightly journal, whenever they play their characters, even if it just gives a small blurb about things the character learned, or did, contacts made, impact made on the world around them, and, lastly but most important, the number of total hours spent playing your character. Time that is off being a full hour, or full thirty minutes, by fifteen minutes or less, will always be rounded up.
Each system has its own means of giving out experience, but for the time being, we're going to use the Vamp system, adapted for both humans, and vampires, taken out of the Vampire the Masquerade 3rd Edition Corebook, as thats what both Head Storytellers have. Now, Experience which is spent, should be discussed with the storyteller, as well as discussing how a character attained that change, or attained a certain attribute increase, ability increase, or new ability, or background. With the information given to the Storyteller, as well as talks between players and Storyteller, the characters can grow adequately, but not too swiftly, to keep the Chronicle going. Experience will be tallied every Saturday, after which, an 'Expanded' larger plot will take place with those present, giving everyone a chance to interact with everyone else, expand their contacts, and keep people involved with whats going on around them.
The costs for experience can be found just below, and on the OOC board, along with the experience gained, will be the reasons why. Points are given for any number of reasons, always at Storyteller discretion, but no player will be favored over another.

* Caitiff have no clan-based Disciplines, just as they have no clan. For them, the cose of raising Disciplines is the current rating x6 for all Disciplines. This is both a curse ad a blessing of being Clanless.
** Increasing a Virtue through experience does not increase Traits based on that Virtue (Humanity, Willpower).
